Our facility is located next to Al Durrah International School Building, it’s a large, safe and welcoming building that incorporates indoor and outdoor environments for the benefit of our children.

  

Our indoor areas include

  • Many spacious classrooms designed for each age group, that are modified so that they could all have access to outdoor areas and natural lighting.
  • It also includes an indoor role play area where the children have the opportunity to explore the ideas they have from their home cultures, stretch their imaginations and develop in so different areas of learning. The role play area involves a home corner with a play kitchen furniture, a puppet theater corner, dressing up area for drama and play, and many more.
  • A STEM and a Sensorial room where the children explore and experiment with different materials which enhance their cognitive development and their capabilities of problem-solving.
  • A CT Room that includes a projector for their visual learning and musical activities.
  • A Babies Room designed for children from 4 months to 1 year old, that includes a separated sleeping area to ensure babies are getting the rest they need in a cosy and quiet place. The staff members who are responsible of the babies room ensure that each individual child follow the routines such as: feeding time, Tummy time,…, and encourages them to crawl,walk and develop their five senses through sensorial activities.

 

Our outdoor areas include

  • Two big playgrouds that are fenced and secured with a security system near the gates.
  • It has a sand area with slides and playful activities, an area for water activities, a garden where the kids could plant some flowers and a construction area where the children could enjoy building houses and…

Health and Safety

Al Durrah Nursery encourages children to make full use of opportunities for experimentation; it has a learning environment that is safe, secure, and inviting.

  • CCTV cameras at our nursery located inside and outside play areas as well as the reception and front entrance gate.
  • The Whole nursery is surrounded by a fence and a security system at the doors and an intercom visitor system.
  • A qualified nurse approved from MOH is present continuously in the setting during nursery hours.She checks the children’s health and fever on daily basis and conducts regular safety sweeps to identify any hazards or danger.
  • A risk assessment is checked daily in all areas of the nursery.
  • We also have strict safety and hygiene policies and procedures which support our Infection Control policy.
  • Deep cleaning and disinfecting routine are implemented regularly.
  • We have an agreement with a pest control company and a water tank.
